Imagine you are driving down this beautiful country road and all the sudden you see this cute barn in the distance. As you slow and approach the drive you see the riding arena and you imagine this sense of magic you are going to experience. As you pull in you see the sign of this person and heart and you know you are home.
Healing H’arts is just that from the adorable dogs that greet you to say hello to the friendly staff and volunteers that draw you in with their smile and sense of calm and peace. It’s like you get to drop the busy and crazy of the day and life and be wrapped in this healing hug of love that recharges you for what you are headed back to and reminds you that anything is possible.
Healing H’arts is not a stable or a farm, it is a home and it is a home to animals and people alike. The horses smell you and love getting treats from your hand and while they may not speak in words they speak in action and behavior. They take your crazy heart rate and sense of juggling and step in to be your other half as you ride or just simply watch as they interact with those there that day. While the horses are doing their thing there are the volunteers working in partnership with the staff and riders to ensure a safe and memorable ride. Building connections and being some of the best and strongest supporters in so many ways.
The best part of all those connections are the memories being made. You see that is what homes are made of and hold, some of the cherished moments that last far beyond a lifetime. Healing H’Arts creates and defines these moments for so many, whether they are just doing a quick visit or are officially in the barn family. It’s the moment you watch your child put the saddle on, the shared stories between the riders and their horses, the rides, the laughter and fun with the games, the sharing of life and the sharing of love. Healing H’Arts just feels like home where you can be you and be loved. Healing H’Arts does help healing because it’s not hard work that happens here but heart work. Healing H’Arts reminds us all how connected we are and how as a family we are stronger together.
